FUTWA CONCLUDES WESTNILE REGION TUG OF WAR NTO LEVEL 1 TRAINING IN ARUA CITY. On the 18th of April 2026, the Federation of Tug of War Associations Uganda ( FUTWA ) successfully conducted the National Technical Officer Level One Course for the West Nile Region . The training took place at Arua Prison Primary School in Arua City . The primary objective was to equip local sports teachers, enthusiasts, and administrators with the fundamental technical skills required to officiate and coach Tug of War in accordance with the 2025 Ugandan Sports Regulation. Attendance and Participation The training was attended by 37 participants, including teachers from various primary and secondary schools, district representatives, Girl guides / Scout leaders and members of the media.
