ENTEBBE, UGANDA — December 13, 2025 — The Entebbe Airport Stakeholders League (EASHL) management, sponsors, and partners express profound sadness and heartfelt condolences following the passing of Mr. Abima Stephen, the esteemed Secretary General of the Amalgamated Transport and General Workers' Union (ATGWU).
Mr. Abima Stephen was a distinguished leader whose commitment and service to the transport and general workers of Uganda were exemplary. As the head of ATGWU, a key partner and supporter of the EASHL, his dedication to the welfare of the airport community was deeply valued and recognised by all stakeholders involved in the league.
