NDEJJE UNIVERSITY FC ENTERS 2022 WITH A BANG OVER KITARA FC TO CLOSE THE 1st ROUND OF THE STARTIMES FUFA BIG LEAGUE IN STYLE.

Ndejje University FC came into this game  with a weak away record seating in the 8th position on the Startimes FUFA Big league table as compared to their host Kitara FC who had kept a clean home record putting them in the second position on the table.

 Tactical youthfully Coach Komakech was manding the University club's technical bench along side Veteran CAF instructor Mr Asuman Lubowa as Technical director, Veteran ex-Uganda cranes international Coach Sendegeya as goal keeping coach, Assistant coach Ian & physical trainer coach Collins.

Hoima based Bunyoro KItara boys (KITARA FC) coached by Big league  specialist veteran  coach Makumbi who host their games at Masindi municipality play ground came into this last game of the Startimes FUFA Big League (SFBL) first round with the odds in their favor having  won all their home games in the previous games.

Ndejje University FC having won only one away game against PROLINE FC from their previous games, came into today's game as the under dogs thrusty for a second away win to keep their hopes alive in the SFBL.

The first half start with the visiting University boys pressing hard and their efforts paid off when swift winger Sali was brought down in the 18 yard box of Kitara, a pentaly was awarded but Mpande missed it so the 1st half ended in a goalless draw.

The Kitara home fans were shocked at the beginning of the second half when Ndejje 
Scored the opener but the University boys' joy was short lived when Kitara FC got a penalty after an allegied hand ball  fortunately Ndejje' s gaol keeper saved it.

Ndejje's lonely striker Nsubuga got injured and was replace by Akodi Solomon.

The home team kept pressing hard until they got their second penalty of the game when Ndejje's Shirt 8 Abigaba handled the ball in his own 18 yard box, Kitara FC converted the penalty to level the score.

Deep in the second half Ndejje FC brought on young Swift attacking midfielder Luzige replacing Ouma Peter. 
The game then changed pace as the visit University boys of Ndejje kept their host on their toes. Before Kitara could breath, Ndejje Second a beautiful second goal by Abigaba.  Kitara FC's hopes of picking a point from the game were sharted when Mapande scored a clinical finish to earn his brace making it three goals to one in favor of the University boys aka NDU Lions.
