UGANDA CRANES CHAN HEIST HIT DEAD END
Unfortunately Johnathan McKinstry's tactics failed to pull off the heist thus Cranes losing horribly to Morocco the group leaders by a two goals to five leading to their ejection out of the tournament with the most horrible defeat of the night.
This poor performance in the CHAN tournament as left many Ugandan asking if really Head coach Johnathan McKinstry's is the right man for the big job since its been a long time since Uganda cranes put off such a poor display in any tournament. One football analyst said "Uganda Cranes back line was very disorganised thus exposing goal keeper Lukwaga to conceive those five goals" while others argue that McKinstry lost this tournament from the start when he fired a long serving goalkeeping coach Kajoba and poor team selection might have also contributed to the poor display of football.
Well only one Uganda cranes player managed to remain in the hearts of Ugandans through out this tournament and that's no one other than URA FC's Saidi Kyeyune who scored two beautiful goals one against Togo and the other against Morocco that will forever be remembered.
