With five games played, the tesrgas boys ( POLICE FC ) were left with a bitter taste of their own gas after they fell to UPDF FC's Sword at Bombo Barracks play ground.

Ruben Paul Kabuye’s lonely strike in 50th minute was enough as Police FC suffered its first defeat of the season.

The victory, that sees UPDF FC bounce back from Kyetume loss, sends the Army side top of the log thus conquering the startimes league table with 12 points from four wins and one loss out of the played five games.

UPDF FC's long serving experienced captain Sekitoleko Denis emerged man of the match after commanding a very Strong defense which included youngster Bright Joseph Vuni & Mubiru Isa who looked impressive thus police could not find any space to shoot into the army side goal.

The loss sees the teargas boys POLICE FC drop to third place with ten points from five games.The league will resume in February next year and with police FC hosting Kyetume on February 12 while UPDF FC will be visiting Vipers SC at ST Marys Stadium kitende.
